original red brick Main Street, listed on the National Register of
Historic Places, is known as the largest collection of Federal style
architecture in the state. |
| Historic Sites - Rogersville is proud to be the
site where the first newspaper in the "territory south of the
River Ohio" was printed, Tennessee's first post office, Davy
Crockett's family's first Tennessee home, and the oldest original
courthouse in the state. It is home to the famous Hale Springs Inn
